
Fund Purpose
The Leadership & Education in Ag Fund (LEAF) builds and sustains ag students, future leaders, and current workers in Stanislaus County. To do this, LEAF will support a number of programs and provide scholarships that strengthen the talent pipeline for the Ag industry in Stanislaus County.
funding priorities
Scholarships to college-bound high school seniors, to fund degrees in ag-related fields
Scholarships and program investments in local FFA programs at participating Stanislaus County high schools
Funds to support Ag programs at Modesto Junior College, with a focus on precision applications and irrigation technology as well as other emergent industry needs
Funds to support the development and real-time responsiveness of ag-related bachelors and certificate programs at CSU Stanislaus
Programming that exposes high-school and college students to potential careers in agriculture
Other programs that support and strengthen the ag field
