What is your role at SCF?
I am responsible for coordinating and maintaining all accounting and operational functions, including office management and human resources. I serve as the Liaison to the Investment Committee; oversee the annual budget, annual audit and tax return preparation; and provide month-end and year-end financial statements. I also maintain the organization’s finance policies, human resources policies and policies governing all funds and operations.

What do you like most about working at the foundation?
It is never a boring day at the Foundation. I come across something new every day. I love being able to have to opportunity to do a variety of tasks from the daily familiar duties to the unknown, challenging and complex work.

What is your favorite thing to do in Stanislaus County?
My favorite thing to do in Modesto is taking my kids to Fun Works and Rockin Jump and letting them run around for a couple of hours.

When I was 5, I was pretty sure I’d grow up to be…?
A teacher.

Favorite TV show?
Tomorrow on Netflix.

Biggest fear?
Worms and caterpillars…and I love to garden.
