Pedro Gonzalez

Pedro Gonzalez is part of the City Ministry Network's 2021 Latino Leadership Initiative. His passion for community and faith have inspired his leadership style in the community. 

Growing up in a dysfunctional family, Pedro learned the importance drawing from the wisdom of lived experiences. He believes that to be effective community leaders, we must make an effort to understand the experiences of those we serve to truly know how to make a difference in their lives which in turn will lead to community transformation as a whole.

Pedro has a desire for advocating for those who may not know how to advocate for themselves. With his time spent in studying marketing, he plans to capture the untold stories of the problems our disadvantaged communities face. He also has a passion to invest in, mentor, and equip up-and-coming servant leaders who desire to create positive change in the city.

As a NextGen on Board Fellow, Pedro is serving a two-year term on Self-Help Enterprises’ Board of Directors beginning July 2021.
