Ulisses Vasquez
Ulisses Vasquez was born and raised in Modesto, California. He attended Modesto Junior College and went on to transfer to University of California, Berkeley. There Ulisses received his Bachelor's degree in History. He is currently researching graduate programs.
Ulisses is a Test Site Specialist for Curative Inc, a healthcare start-up that tests patients for COVID-19 at no cost to insured or uninsured patients. As a part of the COVID-19 Mobile Testing Van that travels throughout Stanislaus County, he has gotten a close insight at the impact that Covid-19 has had on the area.
Ulisses has sought out ways to be a public servant working for the US Census Bureau as an enumerator. He collected data the 2020 US Census Bureau in Stanislaus County. He also worked for the Stanislaus County Elections Office as an election clerk during the 2020 Presidential Election.
Ulisses is ecstatic about his return back to Stanislaus County and open to learning new ways to serve and cultivate positive change for his community.
As a NextGen on Board Fellow, Ulisses is serving a two-year term on the Boys and Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County’s Board of Directors beginning July 2021.
